CES (earlier known as International Consumer Electronics Show), to be held on 8-11 January 2019 in Las Vegas, USA, is the world’s gathering place for all who thrive on the business of consumer technologies. CES’19 is expected to showcase more than 3,900 exhibiting companies, including manufacturers, developers and suppliers of consumer technology hardware, content, technology delivery systems and more; a series of conferences with more than 300 conference sessions which are expected to be attended by over 170,000 attendees from 150 countries.
Considered the “Super Bowl” for global consumer electronics and consumer technology, CES takes place every January in Las Vegas. The first CES took place in New York City in June 1967. Since then, thousands of products have been announced at the yearly show, including many that have transformed our lives. CES has been a platform for innovators and breakthrough technologies and the global stage where next-generation innovations are introduced to the marketplace. As the largest hands-on event of its kind, CES features all aspects of the industry.
It may be noted that CES 2018 held in Las Vegas had more than 4,400 exhibiting companies, covering exhibit space of more than 2.7 million sq. ft. In addition to regulars and big companies, CES 2018 had hosted more than 1,000 startups at the Eureka Park Marketplace. Moreover, more than 182,000 industry professionals, including more than 63,000 from outside the U.S., convened to drive the ever-evolving global technology industry forward.;
CES will be held at the World Trade Center Las Vegas (WTCLV), one of the busiest facilities in the world, is a 3.2 million-square-foot convention center located within a short distance of the famous Las Vegas Strip.
