Greater Delhi Master Printers’ Association’s Felicitation Function for AIFMP, New Team

Greater Delhi Master Printers’ Association organised the felicitation function to welcome the newly elected team of AIFMP.

Present at the function were President, Prof. Kamal Chopra; Vice Presidents Shri Arun Gupta (North); Shri Sandip Kumar Sanyal (East); Shri C D Kumaravel (South); Shri Rajendera Jain (West); Shri Anand V Limay, Hon. General Secretary; Shri G K Kalairajan, Hon. Joint Secretary; and Shri C. Prakash Babu, Hon. Treasurer. Immediate Past President D Kalita could not attend the function.

Shri Vijay Kumar Chopra Ji, Editor-in-chief, Punjab Kesari (The well known daily Newspaper) and past President of the AIFMP, was the Chief Guest.

Welcoming the newly elected team under the leadership of Prof. Kamal Chopra for the year 2016-17 and the Chief Guest Shri Vijay Kumar Chopra Ji and other invitees, members of GDMPA, the sponsors and specially, the printers who came all the way from Punjab and Uttar Pradesh, Shri Vinod Sethi, President GDMPA emphasised the problems of printing industries viz., performance and quality of printing machinery being manufactured in India, shortage of trained technical people, increase in paper prices and competition among printers.

Mr. Satish Malhotra, the moderator for the evening, welcomed the AIFMP team with garlands and momentos, which were presented by the GDMPA Members and guests. The moderator spoke about the new team and expected it to perform exceedingly well under the leadership of Prof. Kamal Chopra.

Hon. General Secretary, Mr. Anand Limay on behalf of the newly elected team spoke on many issues and problems of printing industries and assured to achieve new heights for the Federation.

Shri Vijay Chopra Ji, Chief Guest, appreciating the new team, especially Prof. Kamal Chopra who has been continuosly working for the printers in India as well as abroad and has been regularly visiting the small towns of Punjab, Haryana as well as Rajasthan. Helping the Printers Associations and guiding them for the last so many years. He also appreciated Shri Subhash Chander for being felicitated for the Print Guru Award.

Prof. Kamal Chopra, in his presidential address stressed upon to give more importance to micro and small printers for their upliftment. He also emphasised on his mission to put AIFMP on the international map to gain proper identification to the printing industry. Mr Chopra also invited all the GC Members with a free stay in China at the April 2017 meeting.

Vote of thanks was given by Mr Subhash Chander, the Past President of the Federation. He thanked Prof. Kamal Chopra, his team and the Chief Guest, Shri Vijay Kumar Chopra Ji along with all the participants and the guests for making the function possible by their esteemed presence.
