InPrint Industrial Inkjet Conference held at Chicago

The recent InPrint Industrial Inkjet Conference held on May 1-2, 2018 at the Palmer House Hilton in Chicago offered the industrial print community with unique, thought-leading insights on adopting digital technologies to develop new business opportunities. The conference was an educational and networking forum for the industrial print community, providing insight into the full spectrum of possibilities for manufacturing using industrial inkjet technology. It highlighted trends, challenges, case studies, and the latest technical innovations in industrial inkjet technology across functional, decorative, and package printing applications. The conference gave the opportunity to learn from industry leaders who are developing the technology or successfully implementing it in their manufacturing processes.

Attendees from top notch companies like Avery Dennison, Xerox, Apple, Konica Minolta, Two-day event at Chicago offered insights on inkjet applications for manufacturers and Procter & Gamble could hear on the successes and challenges of adopting digital print. Focusing on packaging, decorative and functional print applications, the conference speaker shared their expertise highlighting trends, case studies, and the latest technical innovations in industrial inkjet.

In his keynote presentation on “Rebirth of Industrial Inkjet” Mark Hanley, President, I.T. Strategies shared his projections for realistic market development potential across all market segments – decorative, functional and packaging. Ron Gilboa, Group Director, Production Technology Advisory Service, Keypoint Intelligence—InfoTrends presented the closing keynote session “Growing your Inkjet Printing Business.” In his presentation on “Advances in Water-Based Inkjet Ink for Flexible Packaging,” Daisuke Hamada, Executive Vice President of Kao Collins, explained how technological advances allow for new creative applications with digital inkjet printing.

The next InPrint USA show, co-located with ICE USA, the International Converting Exhibition, will be held in Louisville, KY April 9-11, 2019.
