The 2018 edition of ‘Screen Print Bangladesh’ expo to be held on 27-29 September 2018 in Dhaka, will surely give yet another chance to international exhibitors to explore the Bangladesh’s ever growing garment printing sector.
Garment printing as a whole (screen, digital sublimation, DTG, heat transfer), is an integral part of garment industry. So, the expo will enable the Bangladesh printing industry to empower themselves with latest technologies and techniques, against the back drop of the country’s RMG (ready-made garment) mission of achieving US$50 billion export by 2021, the 50th anniversary of the independence of Bangladesh. The Screen Print Bangladesh will be held at International Convention City Bashundhara (ICCB) Purbachal Express Highway, Dhaka, Bangladesh. The show, besides focusing on Screen Printing, Textile Printing, Digital Printing, Sublimation Printing, Heat transfers, will also feature commercial screen printing for value addition (garment tags and packaging), Signage and other printing technologies that are relevant to Bangladesh market.
Bangladesh is the world’s second-largest apparel exporter, just falling behind mighty China. And Goldman Sachs, an investment consulting firm, has included Bangladesh in the Next 11 emerging countries. With about $28.669 billion exports in 2017, Textile and Apparel sector is the most vital industrial sector in the country, representing 12 per cent of GDP and around 83 per cent of total exports.
To give stimulus to Bangladesh’s printing sector, Aditya Exposition will be organising the second Screen Print Bangladesh expo. The expo will open up plenty of hidden opportunities for the international exhibitors. Screen printing and digital garment/textile printing machinery suppliers, pre-press and post press equipment suppliers, inks and chemical suppliers, material and consumable suppliers, print finishing equipment and material suppliers – all will have an opportunity to come closer to Bangladesh’s printing sector, especially the garment printing sector.
It may be noted that the inaugural edition of Screen Print Bangladesh, held from November 26-28, 2017 in Dhaka, with co-located events Sublimating Ideas Expo and Sign Expo was quite successful. In the first edition, there were 35 exhibitors from all over the globe and the show witnessed over 2,500 industry focused visitors. The feedbacks from both exhibitors and the visitors were very positive, thus prompting the organisers to come back again with their second edition
The Screen Print Bangladesh is barely 3 months away and like in the first edition, Aditya Exposition has already started massive campaign including online and offline, social media promotions and advertisements to ensure that the second edition gets bigger and better than the first edition.
