6th Eastern Print Pack Concluded Successfully in Kolkata

23 April 2022: The 6th Eastern Print Pack 2022 exhibition along with the concurrent show, Eastern Signage, concluded successfully on April 1-3, 2022 at Science City Kolkata. The show was organized by The West Bengal Master Printers’ Association (WBMPA) and DBS International was the Co-organizer.

Dipankar Samanta, Director of DBS International says “Despite the fact that the show was held after a gap of 2 years owing to the pandemic, there was an overwhelming response, although it was not up to the level of the pre-pandemic scenario. While the Eastern Print pack had over 60 exhibitors, the Eastern Signage show had over 80 exhibitors. It is now a common trend to cooperate and collaborate when it comes to organizing trade fairs. And holding related exhibitions together, such as Eastern Print Pack and Eastern Signage is a strategic move which benefits visitors at large as they do not have to visit two exhibitions separately.”

Eastern Print Pack show featured Offset Printing, Value Addition, Binding Books & Calendars, Digital Printing, Screen Printing, Labels, Packaging & Non-Woven printing technologies.

Explaining the reasons for the success of the show, Dipankar said “Although there are huge exhibitions such as PrintPack India, often most of the printers do not visit shows happening in the faraway venue. So, Eastern Print Pack caters to the local needs and printers in large numbers visit the show. Since Kolkata is the gateway of South East Asia, a good number of visitors/participants from countries like Nepal, Bangladesh, and neighbouring states of Bihar, Jharkhand, Odissa and entire North-Eastern states of India visited the Show.”

WBMPA and DBS International jointly played a key role in the success of Eastern Print Pack. The West Bengal Master Printers’ Association (WBMPA) being one of the oldest associations of the print industry as well as one of the founder members of AIFMP, has been a concerned, functional entity actively working with the vision of reshaping and developing the printing & packaging industry in the Eastern Indian region. On the other hand, DBS International is India’s leading and pioneering organiser of International Exhibitions and conferences.
