MIPT FY Students Visit Unique Labels (P) Ltd. For An Industrial Tour
16 April 2025: On March 25th, 2025, the first-year students from Maharashtra Institute of Printing Technology (MIPT) visited Unique Labels (P) Ltd. for an industrial tour, where they learned about the screen printing process used in automotive dials, graphic overlays, and label printing applications. The students were guided through the tour by few alumni from the same institute, who are now working at Unique Labels (P) Ltd.
The alumni started the tour by giving information about Johannes Gutenberg, inventor of the printing technology. Later, they thoroughly explained the entire printing process to the students along with company’s environmental-friendly approach by using recycled materials for plantation and gardening in the premises.
The company is committed to help the educate students by benefiting both students and the industry itself. After the tour, the directors of the company addressed the students, emphasizing the importance of the industry and discussing their decision to pursue careers in the field.
Pawan Khake, the NextGen who has recently joined his parents, Padmakar V Khake, Managing Director and his wife Vandana Khake, Director (HR), said, “This is one of the ways we are building the screen printers of tomorrow, who will comprise the much-needed manpower for the industry in the future. These interactions will also open the vision and horizon of the students about the vast opportunities that industrial screen printing is overall capable about.
