How would you describe the significance of your having received an Honorary Doctorate in UV Curing from Frankford International University ?
I’m truly humbled to receive this Honorary Doctorate in UV Curing. It’s a huge recognition of my 30 years of hard work and dedication to this field. I’m grateful for this acknowledgment and feel proud to have made a difference in UV curing technology and given India many first of its kind machines.
What have been the reactions, the feedback to this noteworthy development ?
Everyone’s been incredibly supportive and congratulatory. Colleagues, friends, family, customers and all well wishers are thrilled for me. It’s amazing to see how this recognition has brought joy to the people I care about.
On a professional level, how has your having been passionately working in the field of UV Curing for the past 30 years further enhanced the importance of this Honorary Doctorate ?
My passion has driven me to innovate and improve for decades. This Honorary Doctorate is a testament to my lifelong commitment. It feels amazing to know my work has made a lasting impact on the industry.
What are evolutionary changes and technology driven transformations you have observed in the past three decades ?
Over 30 years, I’ve seen UV curing transform dramatically. New technologies like LED UV curing have emerged and applications have expanded across industries. It’s been incredible to witness and contribute to this growth. Now we make 100% Made in India LED UV Systems. Our R&D team is working diligently with current and futuristic technology.
As the head of APL Machinery, how would you describe your role in terms of driving growth and extending existing boundaries further ?
As the head of APL Machinery, my role involves driving growth and pushing the existing boundaries to the next level. I focus on:
– Innovating and developing new technologies that meet the evolving needs of various industries, for instance, we have developed India’s very own Digital printing machine (5 colours printing in single pass).
– Expanding our product portfolio to cater to emerging applications and markets.
– Building strategic partnerships and collaborations to further enhance our offerings.
