Agfa-Gevaert Group Announces Strategic Reorganization to Accelerate Growth

30 August 2025: Agfa-Gevaert Group is taking a significant step forward in its transformation journey. Following years of strategic repositioning around digital innovation and sustainable growth, the company is refining its organizational structure to enhance agility, sharpen focus, and drive long-term value creation.

New structure effective January 1, 2026

Effective January 1, 2026, the Agfa-Gevaert Group will operate and report through three distinct business segments, reflecting the level at which strategic decisions are made and performance is managed:

HealthCare IT – led by Nathalie McCaughley.

Industrial Solutions – led by Vincent Wille and consisting of the Digital Printing Solutions business and the Green Hydrogen Solutions business.

Imaging and Chemicals – led by Pascal Juéry and consisting of the Film and Chemicals business*, the Computed Radiography business and CONOPS as well as the Digital Radiology Solutions business**.

Executive Committee update

As of January 1, 2026, following business leaders will become members of Agfa’s Executive Committee, alongside the existing members Gunther Koch (CHRO), Fiona Lam (CFO) and the segment leaders.

Jorge Tomás – responsible for the Green Hydrogen Solutions business within Industrial Solutions.
Jorge Tomás joined Agfa in July 2020 as Group Vice President of Strategy and Corporate Development. In January 2025, he assumed the role of Vice President of Green Hydrogen Solutions. With more than 20 years of experience at Boston Consulting Group, Jorge has a robust background in corporate strategy and transformation.

Gwendolien Fonck – responsible for the Film and Chemicals business*, the Computed Radiography business and CONOPS within Imaging and Chemicals. Gwendolien Fonck joined Agfa in January 2023 as Vice President of Electronic Print and Specialty Films & Foils. With a strong track record in the chemical industry, she brings deep expertise in business leadership and strategic development and execution across both mature and emerging markets.

François Verdeaux (who will join Agfa on September 1, 2025) – responsible for the Digital Radiology Solutions business** within Imaging and Chemicals.

François Verdeaux brings over 25 years of global leadership experience in healthcare, MedTech, and life sciences, having held senior executive roles at GE Healthcare and Omnicell.

Pascal Juéry, CEO of the Agfa-Gevaert Group, commented: “This reorganization enables sharper focus and stronger execution across our businesses, ensuring each segment receives the leadership and capabilities required to succeed.”

Jeroen Spruyt, President of the current Radiology Solutions division, has decided to leave Agfa on August 31, 2025 to pursue new career opportunities. Pascal Juéry said: “I wish to thank Jeroen for the years of dedication to our company. Thanks to the efforts of Jeroen and his team, the Direct Radiography business is now well-positioned to continue outpacing market growth.”

* Consisting of Medical film and Specialty Film and Chemicals
** Formerly known as the Direct Radiography business.
