PRINTPACK – NORTHEAST 2026 to be held at Guwahati, Assam from 22-24 May 2026
20 October 2025: Indian Printing Packaging & Allied Machinery Manufacturers’ Association (IPAMA) has announced launch of yet another regional trade show ‘PRINTPACK – NORTHEAST 2026’ from 22-24 May 2026 at Maniram Dewan Trade Centre, Guwahati, Assam, aimed for growth and development of the Printing and Packaging Industries in Northeast India Region.
The Northest India Region encompasses eight states: Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim and Tripura. This area is notable for its strategic importance, cultural and ethnic diversity, lush biodiversity, rich natural resources and growing industrial segment which helps printing and packaging to grow. The region shares international borders with several countries and is connected to the rest of India by a narrow land corridor.
This expo is a joint venture with Northeast Association to organize Northeast Print Tech, rebranded as “PRINTPACK – NORTHEAST”. Northeast India holds significant potential for the printing and packaging industry due to its growing literacy rate, tourism, agriculture, food processing, handicrafts and pharmaceutical sectors.
PRINTPACK – NORTHEAST exhibition aims to serve not only the Northeast region but also neighbouring countries such as Bhutan, Myanmar, Nepal and Bangladesh, along with nearby states like Bihar, Bengal, Odisha, Chhattisgarh and Jharkhand. IPAMA anticipates approximately 10,000 visitors from these areas. The roadmap has been devised and is currently underway.
