Inkcups to Showcase High Throw Direct-to-Object printing at PPAI 2026
29 December 2025: Global leader in direct-to-object printing technology Inkcups will showcase the versatility of direct-to-object printing for promotional products at PPAI Expo 2026, the largest promotional products show in North America. Inkcups will exhibit on Booth 5567 at the event, which takes place from 13-15 January 2026 at Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas, NV, USA.
Visitors to the Inkcups booth will be able to learn more about the capabilities of direct-to-object printing, and learn about how Inkcups customers in the promotional products industry are using direct-to-object technology to transform their business.
At PPAI Expo 2026, Inkcups will demonstrate its recently launched X5-T High Throw UV flatbed printer, which features Inkcups’ new ‘High Throw’ technology. The High Throw enhancement to the already popular X5-T flatbed direct-to-object digital printer significantly increases the ink throw distance between the printhead and the substrate, enabling high-quality, accurate, full-color prints on contoured, rounded, slightly curved and irregularly shaped objects, such as mugs with handles, tiered drinkware, and sporting equipment. The X5-T was already known for its ability to print on items up to 19.7 inches (500mm) tall with the addition of a drop table, but the addition of High Throw technology enhances its performance and affirms it as an ideal solution for complex applications in the promotional print market.
Gregg Harwood, Director of Digital Product Management & Global Service at Inkcups said “Customer feedback on market trends is a vital part of how and why we develop innovations such as the High Throw enhancement to the X5-T. PPAI is always a great opportunity for us to discuss the capabilities of our innovations with existing customers and introduce them to new customers too. We look forward to showing visitors to the booth how seamlessly our X5-T High Throw technology tackles contoured, curved, rounded, handled and other irregularly shaped objects to enable even greater design freedom.”
