From AI to Store Design: EuroShop 2026 shares comprehensive retail knowledge on seven stages
14 February 2026: Delivering over 270 talks free of charge on seven thematically curated stages EuroShop 2026 will offer one of the most extensive and international conference programmes in the retail sector. International retail experts will provide hands-on insights in keynotes, panels and use cases – from technology trends and AI applications to retail and event marketing to store design, food service and sustainable retail concepts. Participating companies include OTTO, OBI, dm, Douglas, Thalia, POCO, EDEKA, Manufactum and Veseloglu, to name but a few.
Seven stages – seven perspectives on tomorrow’s retail
The Yellow Stage (Hall 1) highlights the changes expo and event marketing are undergoing and how brands can create sustainable relations through live communication, storytelling and emotional experiences. On the Purple Stage (Hall 4) high-impact retail marketing, international trends as well as AI-assisted and multi-sensory POS concepts are in focus.
The Red Stage (Hall 6) showcases best practices for digital transformation in retail using concrete projects for omni-channel, data-driven processes and productively deployed AI solutions. In addition to this, the Blue Stage in the same hall is dedicated to current and coming technology trends such as mobile solutions, self-checkout, RFID, payment and IT security. Serving as a platform for innovations and new business models the Black Stage (Hall 7) will move start-ups and scale-ups into the limelight. Special focal themes here will be e-mobility and charging infrastructure in retail, to name but two examples.
The Amber Stage (Hall 9) places physical stores as experience areas centre stage and presents international examples from architecture, shopfitting, lighting and material development.
Experimental stage format: RETAIL(UN)COVERED
A special highlight will be the RETAIL(UN)COVERED Stage in Hall 12: occupying an area of 230 sqm, master students of communication design (Studio Retail) at University of Applied Sciences Düsseldorf will present a modular stage concept for live events, discussions and immersive formats. High-resolution LED screens and 3D-real-time worlds will set the scene for a curated programme on Future, AI & Technology, Community, Social & People as well as Sustainability, Nature & Our Planet.
Community Space: Retail WG in Hall 7
Alongside the stages, the Retail WG will provide an open Community Space for retailers, brands and start-ups. Over the five days of the trade fair this area will focus on personal exchange, networking and joint further development.
