Arrow Digital Installs First EFI™ VUTEk® h3 at Macromedia, Delhi

17 February 2026: When technology meets ambition, transformation becomes inevitable. That is exactly what unfolded in Delhi as Arrow Digital (P) Ltd. proudly installed the revolutionary EFI VUTEk h3 at Macromedia. This advanced hybrid platform is engineered to deliver seamless performance across both roll-to-roll and rigid media within a single production environment.

In a candid interaction, Sam Patel, CEO of Arrow Digital (P) Ltd. and Naresh Kumar, Director of Macromedia, shared the strategic vision behind this landmark investment.

Sam Patel adds, when businesses aim to future-proof operations, they invest in technology that delivers a competitive edge today – not tomorrow. The EFI VUTEk h3 is designed for print businesses that aspire to lead, and Macromedia has consistently demonstrated that leadership mindset. This decision was not about incremental expansion, but about strengthening an already robust EFI ecosystem.

As Naresh Kumar explained, Macromedia already operates a comprehensive portfolio of EFI printers across roll-to-roll, hybrid, flatbed and dye-sublimation technologies. With the addition of the VUTEk h3, the company now integrates a powerful hybrid solution engineered as an industrial production platform for high-performance environments.

Equipped with UltraDrop™ Technology and high-velocity 7pL greyscale printheads, the system delivers sharp text, smooth gradients, and refined detail at resolutions up to 1200 dpi – meeting the demanding standards of retail chains, corporate interiors and brand environments.

The platform supports media up to 5.08 cm thick and enables up to nine-layer printing in a single pass, unlocking high-value creative applications. Advanced features such as multi-roll capability, automated loaders and stackers, super-duty winders and skip-white functionality further enhance workflow efficiency while reducing ink consumption.

A camera-based vision system ensures sub-pixel alignment and printhead density consistency, while mechanical crash and wrinkle detection systems protect both media and machinery – reinforcing long-term reliability.

For Macromedia, sustainability is not a trend but a responsibility. EFI’s LED “cool cure” technology significantly reduces energy consumption while maintaining peak performance. Compared to other traditional lamp systems, LED curing can cut energy usage by up to 82%, while also lowering VOC emissions, reducing waste, and expanding substrate compatibility – aligning production with global ESG expectations.

Sam Patel emphasized that sustainability today is a strategic advantage: reducing operating costs while minimizing environmental impact strengthens both business performance and brand value. He also noted that for Arrow Digital, the installation marks the beginning of a long-term partnership, extending beyond deployment to ongoing optimization, training, and performance enhancement.

Naresh Kumar echoed this sentiment, highlighting that while technology is essential, responsive support makes the real difference. Arrow Digital’s service expertise and nationwide support infrastructure provide the confidence needed for aggressive expansion.

Together, Arrow Digital and Macromedia are not merely expanding capacity – they are shaping a future-ready print environment built on innovation, reliability, and long-term collaboration. In today’s competitive landscape, that makes all the difference.
