Bharat Tex 2026 to Bring Together 7,000 Buyers and 1.3 Lakh Trade Visitors in New Delhi
03 July 2026: Bharat Tex 2026 will take place from 14-17 July 2026 at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi, presenting India’s textile ecosystem on a unified global platform. The event is organised by the Bharat Tex Trade Federation, a consortium of Textile Export Promotion Councils and industry bodies, with support from the **Ministry of Textiles, Government of India.
Inspired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s 5F Vision – Farm to Fibre to Factory to Fashion to Foreign, the exhibition serves as a platform for business, sourcing, investment, innovation, policy dialogue and strategic partnerships across the textile value chain. It brings together manufacturers, exporters, buyers, brands, sourcing consultants, investors, policymakers, States, international delegations, designers, artisans, start-ups and technology providers.
The third edition is expected to attract over 7,000 buyers, 1.3 lakh trade visitors, showcase 20,000+ textile products, and span 1.6 million sq. ft. of exhibition space.
More than 350 speakers from over 20 countries will participate in panel discussions, conferences and industry sessions. Experts from countries including the United States, United Kingdom, Germany, Spain, Italy, Netherlands, Belgium, Canada, Portugal, France, Switzerland, South Korea, Thailand, Sri Lanka, Hong Kong, Sweden, Kenya, Bangladesh, Vietnam, Egypt and Indonesia are expected to contribute. An International Pavilion has also been planned to facilitate global participation.
The event has received participation from eight Sponsor States-Madhya Pradesh, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Maharashtra, Gujarat, Karnataka and Tamil Nadu. Additionally, Andhra Pradesh, Assam, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, Jammu & Kashmir, Odisha, Manipur, Rajasthan and West Bengal will participate as exhibitors, highlighting regional textile capabilities, manufacturing infrastructure, investment opportunities and policy support.
On the exhibition front, Bharat Tex 2026 will feature over 1,600 exhibitors across dedicated halls covering fibre, yarn, fabric, apparel and fashion, home textiles, technical textiles and ancillary industries. Textile manufacturing clusters including Tirupur, Ichalkaranji and Ahmedabad will also be showcased.
International exhibitors from 14 countries, including the United States, United Kingdom, Japan, Portugal, Spain, New Zealand, South Korea, South Africa and Nepal, are participating. The event also includes representation from the United Nations and European Union, while industry sponsors include Trident, Vardhman Textiles, RSWM, Shahi Exports, Colorjet, Arvind, PDS Limited and Sattva.
Bharat Tex 2026 will host more than 100 knowledge sessions, including 39 panel discussions, 16 roundtables, 37 masterclasses, eight State sessions and other specialised formats. More than 50 partner agencies are supporting the knowledge programme, which will cover trade and investment, technology and innovation, sustainability and circularity, fashion and craft, policy discussions and State-specific sessions.
The programme will address topics such as export readiness, sustainability compliance, Industry 5.0, fibre security, product innovation, global sourcing trends and emerging technologies.
The event is expected to facilitate nearly 3,500 curated B2B meetings, over 100 B2G meetings, and the signing of more than 20 MoUs covering trade, investment, technology, sustainability, market access and institutional collaboration.
International participation continues to expand, with ministerial delegations from New Zealand, Sri Lanka, Jordan, Cambodia and Brunei expected to attend. Industry and business delegations from countries including the United States, Japan, Spain, United Kingdom, Portugal, Russia, South Africa, New Zealand, United Arab Emirates, Thailand, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Myanmar and Uganda are also expected to participate.
Dedicated bilateral sessions will include discussions on the India-US cotton partnership, India-New Zealand wool ecosystem, India-UK FTA, Japan engagement and Russia-focused textile opportunities.
The event will also feature State Investor Connect Sessions, where States will present investment opportunities, industrial infrastructure, PM MITRA linkages, policy support and manufacturing strengths. Sessions are planned for Gujarat, Uttar Pradesh, Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh, Punjab, Bihar, Maharashtra, Telangana and Tamilnadu, along with focused Gujarat and Uttar Pradesh PM MITRA Master Developer Sessions.
Bharat Tex 2026 will also host the CITI Textile Sustainability Awards 2026, recognising initiatives across seven focus areas: Resource Efficiency, Energy & Emissions, Circular Economy, Sustainable Materials, Social Responsibility, Responsible Business and Industry Collaboration.
To support digital engagement, organisers have launched the Bharat Tex 2026 Mobile App, enabling event navigation, exhibitor discovery, B2B meeting scheduling, digital badges, QR-based lead capture, live agenda access and AI-powered assistance. The app also supports buyer-seller matchmaking, meeting management, floor plan access and post-event lead generation.
