IMPA Corporate Office Opens in Indore, Honours Jawaharlal Nema
04 August 2026: The Indore Master Printers Association (IMPA) has opened its new corporate office in Indore and named it “Shri Jawaharlal Nema Parisar” in honour of veteran printer and packaging entrepreneur Jawaharlal Nema. The premises give the association a dedicated base for administration, meetings, training and member activities.
The opening carries added significance for an organisation that has served Indore’s printing and packaging community for four decades. IMPA’s official website says the association was established in 1986 with around 25 members and has since grown to 127 members. The new office brings its administrative and industry-development work under one roof.
A Permanent Base for Printers
The office is intended to function as more than an administrative address. It is expected to host meetings, knowledge-sharing sessions, training programmes and other initiatives for printing professionals in the region. Industry coverage of the inauguration described the premises as the result of work by IMPA’s leadership, Executive Committee and members.
The opening was attended by association members, industry representatives and members of the Nema family. IMPA President Pritesh Jain and the Executive Committee also felicitated Jawaharlal Nema and presented him with a Citation of Honour.
Honouring Jawaharlal Nema’s Contribution
Jawaharlal Nema founded Pragati Graphics and Packaging and is closely associated with the development of printing and paperboard packaging in central India. Industry accounts credit him with building the company through a hands-on approach to production, technology and customer commitments.
Prashant Atre, former Managing Director of Toyo Inks India, spoke at the ceremony about Nema’s career and contribution to the printing industry. The occasion also brought together members of the Pragati family and senior figures from the local printing community.
A Shared Industry Asset
The new IMPA corporate office represents the association’s long-running effort to create a common platform for printers in Indore. IMPA says its work includes sharing technical knowledge, organising workshops and seminars and helping members understand changing government regulations.
By naming the premises after Jawaharlal Nema, the association has linked its new working base with the values it wants to preserve: practical knowledge, professional integrity and service to the wider printing community. The office now gives IMPA a fixed venue from which to continue that work.
