Print China 2027 Plans Larger Dongguan Edition
08 August 2026: Print China 2027 will return to Dongguan, China, from 12-16 April 2027 with a larger floor plan and a programme covering printing, packaging and publishing technology.
The sixth International Printing Technology Exhibition of China (Guangdong) will be held at the Guangdong Modern International Exhibition Centre. It is backed by the Printing and Printing Equipment Industries Association of China, China International Exhibition Centre Group and the Printing and Replicating Industry Association of Guangdong.
Larger floor plan for the 2027 show
Print China 2027 will be spread in Exhibition area of about 150,000 square metres. The event is expected to host more than 1,000 exhibitors and draw about 200,000 professional visitors.
The expansion follows the 2023 edition, which used about 140,000 square metres across indoor halls and temporary outdoor areas. Organisers said demand exceeded the available space. An additional hall has therefore been included in the 2027 plan.
Printing and packaging technology in focus
Print China 2027 is planned as a broad showcase for printing machinery, digital pre-press, integrated packaging, labels and flexible packaging, corrugated processing, post-press systems, printing materials and intelligent manufacturing.
More than 60 conferences, forums and technical exchanges are also planned. Topics are expected to include digital printing, automation, packaging development, sustainability and changes in production technology.
Guangdong provides an established industrial base
Guangdong’s large printing and packaging sector is a major reason for holding the exhibition in Dongguan. According to the organisers, the province has more than 16,700 printing enterprises with annual industry output above RMB 300 billion. They put Dongguan’s share at more than 3,400 printing companies and output of about RMB 74.3 billion.
The city also sits within the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, giving exhibitors and visitors access to the region’s air, rail, road and port networks. Its location supports the organisers’ effort to attract buyers and suppliers from China, Southeast Asia and other international markets.
International participation remains a target
For equipment makers and material suppliers, Print China 2027 offers a route into a dense manufacturing market. Printers, converters and publishers can use the event to compare systems, discuss applications and meet suppliers.
