OneVision 26.2 Adds AI Bleed, Upscale and Extract Modules

11 August 2026: OneVision Software AG has released version 26.2 of its print automation software, adding three new AI image modules, broader Variable Data Printing (VDP) support and tighter production monitoring. The company, based in Regensburg, Germany, announced the update in August 2026.

According to OneVision, the release centres on new AI Services that can run GPU-accelerated image tasks inside a customer’s own infrastructure, without manual prompting. The company said AI-powered steps can run automatically in the background and compute-heavy jobs can be shifted to dedicated GPU machines linked to the OneVision environment so they do not have to sit on the main production server.

The three new modules named in the release are ….
– AI Bleed, which generates bleed for print-ready images
– AI Upscale Pro, which rebuilds image content to support higher-resolution enlargements for professional print work
– AI Extract, which removes image backgrounds, including on complex objects and fine detail

OneVision said the local deployment model is meant to keep sensitive production files inside the customer’s own network while still allowing shops to scale AI capacity as demand grows.

On personalised print, version 26.2 expands the firm’s VDP tools. VDP processing now supports direct export to PDF 1.7, and the VDP Template Editor accepts JSON as an input format for file structures. OneVision said those changes should make template creation more flexible and simplify data integration for variable jobs.

Workspace monitoring has also been extended. Dashboards can show configurable warning and critical indicators for time-sensitive jobs and support user-defined time-series data for custom production views. Other Workspace changes include richer CSV job-ticket metadata, assembly-line connections that can be turned off temporarily for workflow testing and wider AI Queries configuration options for connecting AI providers.

The Normalize product family gains more flexible scaling options, updated colour management, stronger cutting and nesting tools, and broader support for future PDF technologies. Amendo AI receives improved AI Upscale handling, more flexible image merging and tighter metadata support.

OneVision positioned 26.2 as a practical step for print service providers that want more automated pre-press and production workflows. Independent performance benchmarks for the new AI modules were not published with the release.
