Arasan Ganesan Polytechnic College Conducts Training Programme for Job Opportunities in European Countries

13 June 2025: The Arasan Ganesan Polytechnic College, Sivakasi, Department of Printing Technology, recently conducted a training programme from March 3-5, 2025. The sessions were conceptualised with the aim of training the Second Year Printing Technology students. The three-day programme was attended by 66 students who had shown interest in going abroad for job opportunities in packaging industries, particularly in Europen countries.

The training course was conducted by a trainer based in Chennai. He imparted training to the Printing Technology students in the following areas:
– Types of Corrugation Flutes
– Flexo Printing Process
– Gravure Printing Process
– Digital Printing Process
– Graphic Design Softwares
– Cost Estimation
– Importance of Inernship in Printing Presses
– Healthy Food-Good habits.
– Communication In English And Hindi
– Paper GSM Measurement
– Use Of Magnifying Glass to Verift Print Samples
– Reading Technical Print Magazines
– Offset Printing Process and types of Offset printing machines.

The students got good knowledge and benefitted through the programme immensely. They learned various aspects of packaging technologies and how to prepare for the interviews in the final year by equipping themselves with areas of inetrest.
