Archroma joins hands with Browzwear to provide 4,000+ colors to designers
26 January 2021: Browzwear, a pioneer of 3D digital solutions for the fashion industry, has partnered with Archroma, the leading provider of specialty chemicals for the fashion and apparel industry. The partnership will enable designers to access the full company’s online color library, the Color Atlas by Archroma while using Browzwear’s technology. Creative and technical designers will now have access to 4,320 on-trend colors while designing in both of Browzwear’s proprietary platforms, VStitcher and Lotta.
According to Archroma’s official release, the integration follows Browzwear’s product update in September and is immediately available for designers worldwide. A designer is able to select a color and then can drag-and-drop that color to their 3D garment pattern. Users have the option to use the colors in either the Archroma combination or the RGB format, where they are then extracted directly and accurately into the final tech pack.
With the colors available through Archroma’s Color Atlas, apparel companies can make more accurate decisions before purchasing, ultimately reducing the number of iterations created.
“As workflows in the fashion and apparel industry continue to evolve, platforms like Browzwear are helping designers create and produce beautiful garments at scale,” said Chris Hipps, Head of Archroma Color Management. “With our work with Browzwear, we’re enabling designers to have unprecedented access to our colors, beyond the traditional RGB and in order to envision how the garment will look in different colors, before it is mass-produced.”
