Archroma Showcases Sustainable Denim at Global Fairs
23 May 2025: Archroma, a global leader in specialty chemicals, is set to present its latest sustainable denim technologies at two prestigious industry events: Denim Première Vision Milan (May 21-22) and Denimsandjeans Vietnam (June 25-26). These exhibitions will serve as platforms for Archroma to engage the denim community with new developments in dyeing and processing that aim to preserve denim’s authentic character while reducing its environmental impact.
Despite its continued dominance in fashion, denim production faces challenges over high water, energy, and chemical usage. Archroma is addressing these issues head-on with innovative solutions backed by extensive R&D.

At both events, Archroma will spotlight DENIM HALO – an innovative pretreatment and dyeing process tailored to help mills create distressed denim styles with dramatically lower environmental costs. The process incorporates DIRSOL® RD p, a specialized yarn pretreatment, paired with Archroma’s indigo, sulfur or biosynthetic dyes. This combination enables the production of laser-friendly denim with enhanced visual contrast in deep black and indigo hues, all while maintaining standard dyeing setups.
