Avery Dennison’s new manufacturing unit in India with USD34 million investment

28 December 2020: With a new investment of USD34 million, Avery Dennison is setting up a state-of-the-art manufacturing plant in Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh (UP) as part of its strategy to achieve sustainable business growth and serve its key markets better. With this current investment, the overall investment numbers of India for Avery Dennison exceeds USD 136 million. The new facility would also enable the manufacturing of new innovative products, improve quality and serve its customers faster.

Pankaj Bhardwaj, Vice President and General Manager, Avery Dennison India said ‘We are delighted to announce a new manufacturing plant in UP which is a key part of our overall strategy to keep expanding the market and developing our ability to better serve our customers. This expansion also re-affirms our commitment towards our stakeholders and in developing state-of-the-art products and services while embracing innovation and future technologies. This step also further strengthens our belief towards the potential India holds and towards our people to grow the business sustainably.’

‘UP has emerged as a preferred investment location and will therefore give us many opportunities to grow our business and deliver creative, sustainable solutions to our customers. Spread over an area of 12 acres, the new plant will produce technically-advanced, pressure-sensitive materials for the labeling and packaging industry and would incorporate best practices available with Avery Dennison globally. The new facility, whose land has been allotted by Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA), will have state-of-the-art coating and lamination line.
