Broadcast India Show 2025 – Where Imaging Meets Innovation: Vimal Parmar
11 November 2025: The Broadcast India Show 2025, held from 14-16 October at the Jio World Convention Centre, Mumbai, brought together the best in broadcast, production, and imaging technology. Part of the A.B.I.S. platform, the show featured 500+ brands and attracted more than 10,000 visitors, underscoring India’s growing influence in global media and entertainment.
For photographers, the exhibition offered a clear view of how still and motion imaging are converging. From advanced mirrorless cameras and LED lighting to hybrid workflows that combine photography, video, and live streaming, the show highlighted how content creation now goes far beyond a single frame.
To name just a few, Asus, Canon, Nikon, Sony, Fujifilm, Eizo, Panasonic, and BenQ showcased their latest innovations. From mirrorless systems for hybrid shooters to professional lighting and colour management tools, the displays reflected the growing integration of creative and technical workflows.
The 2025 edition also spotlighted emerging technologies reshaping media. Artificial Intelligence is streamlining workflows and content discovery, cloud-based solutions enable flexible remote production, and immersive technologies such as AR, VR, and XR are transforming audience engagement. OTT platforms continue to grow rapidly, CDNs (Content Delivery Networks) are enabling seamless streaming, and blockchain is emerging for secure digital rights management and royalty tracking, pointing to a highly integrated, interactive media future.
At the venue, I met R. Vijayakumar, founder of Srishti Digilife, representing brands such as Manfrotto, Profoto, Cooke lens, Ilford Photo and Angelbird. He said, “Exhibitions like Broadcast help us connect with prospective customers and engage with our large existing user base, and we are glad we achieved both at Broadcast 2025.”
Another highlight was meeting Sujith Gopinath (Asus Technologies), showcasing the ProArt Series for creative professionals. According to Sujith, “Our goal was to showcase how ProArt products and solutions empower creators to get that extra edge in colour-critical applications; and the response has been phenomenal.”
For photographers, videographers, and print professionals, Broadcast India 2025 was more than a technology showcase. It offered a glimpse into the future of visual storytelling. Whether on screen or in print, the essence remains the same: to create with clarity, passion and purpose.
