Epson launches first ever industry level DTG Printer in India
01 February 2021: Epson has just launched its first ever industrial level Direct-to-Garment (DTG) printer – Epson SureColor SC-F3030, designed for high productivity. This printer is targeted towards garment screen printers, e-commerce customers, drop-shipment jobbers and new start-ups engaged in personalized T-shirt printing business. It offers a low total cost of ownership (TCO) for Mid/Large garment and T-shirt manufacturers, according to an official announcement. Even Epson has announced the price of the DTG which is Rs.36,00,000 plus.
The Epson SureColor SC-F3030 offers medium to large garment print service providers and T-shirt manufacturers a productive and cost-efficient direct-to-garment printing solution. The DTG is equipped with two 2.6” PrecisionCore Micro TFP print heads, making way for faster print speed and cycle time compared to the current model, the SC-F2130. To reduce printer downtime and shorten production schedules even further, Epson’s first industrial-level direct-to-garment printer operates with a Bulk Ink Supply System that offers 1,500ml capacity per ink pack, eliminating frequent ink replacement issues. The SC-F3030 is built with a self-replaceable print head to maximise uptime as customers won’t need to call and wait for service engineers for replacement.
The SC-F3030 also comes with an Auto Gap Adjustment feature for easy switching between garments of different thickness without the need for human intervention, ensuring stable print quality.
The SureColor SC-F3030 comes bundled with the Epson Cloud Solution PORT, a software that allows customers to easily check the status of their printer from any PC or smart device through a Production Monitor, so customers can visualise the printer’s operational status and troubleshoot issues as required, offering a total colour printing solution.
