Epson SureColor Printers Win Three 2026 Pinnacle Awards
20 July 2026: Epson America has received three 2026 PRINTING United Alliance Pinnacle Product Awards for wide-format printers serving the signage and textile markets. The company announced the awards on 16 July 2026. All three products were recognised in Output categories: the SureColor S8170 solvent printer and the SureColor F20070 and F9570H dye-sublimation printers.

– The 64-inch SureColor S8170 won the Roll-to-Roll Solvent/Latex award for printers under 80 inches. Designed for signs and graphics, it uses a six-colour UltraChrome GS3 ink set with light cyan and light magenta. Epson says the model prints more than 20% faster than the previous generation and supports same-day lamination under specified
conditions.
– The SureColor F20070 won the Roll-to-Roll Dye Sublimation on Textile category for equipment costing more than USD 100,000. Built for high-volume textile and apparel production, the industrial printer has eight 4.7-inch PrecisionCore Micro TFP printheads, 10-litre UltraChrome DS ink packs and a media system that can handle rolls
weighing up to 300 kg.
– The 64-inch SureColor F9570H received the corresponding dye-sublimation award in the under-USD 50,000 category. Epson rates the printer at up to 1,590 square feet per hour. Its six-colour configurations pair CMYK with light cyan and light magenta, fluorescent pink and fluorescent yellow, or orange and violet. Intended applications include sportswear, fashion, home décor, promotional goods and soft signage.

The Pinnacle Product Awards are open only to PRINTING United Alliance corporate supplier members and cover products available for sale in 2026. Entries were assessed by a judging panel for innovation, functionality and industry impact. The 2026 programme presented 71 awards: 25 for Output products, 32 for Non-Output products and 14 for Technology entries.
Andreas Goehring, Director of Professional Imaging at Epson America, said the recognition reflected the company’s work on technologies intended to improve production and print quality.

Epson is also listed as an exhibitor at PRINTING United Expo, scheduled for 23-25 September 2026 at the Las Vegas Convention Center, NV, USA. The company will be at booth C1945. Its release says professional imaging systems will be shown.
