ESMA’s Digital Textile Congress 2023 to be held at Ghent in Belgium
07 June 2023: 6th edition of the successful Digital Textile Congress takes place on September 28-29, 2023 in Holiday Inn Expo in Ghent, Belgium. This international event brings together the best research and the latest developments in digital technologies, incl. hardware, software, inks, substrates and their related applications. It is about all the aspects of digital technologies that go into making creative, functional textile, clothing, soft signage, technical, outdoor and indoor textile. Early bird registration is open until July 14, 2023.
Presentations scheduled during the event include contributions by Agfa, Captics, Centexbel, CETI, CHT, ColorDigital, Covestro, Digitex, DITF Denkendorf, DyStar, Farbenpunkt, Fujifilm Ink Solutions, Klieverik, Lamberti, Libaert, SPGPrints, Sun Chemical, Tanatex, TexIntel, TripleR, Zimmer, as well as academic papers. The congress is an initiative of UNITEX, supported by ESMA.
UNITEX is the National Association of (technical) executives of the textile industry in Belgium. Beside members in Belgium, Unitex has also members in other countries (Netherlands, Germany, France, Portugal, Great Britain, USA). It is led by Professor Dr. em. Marc Van Parys.
Its activities mainly consist of the organisation of bi-annual international congresses such as International Coating and Laminating Congress, Digital Textile Congress and World Carpet Congress (in collaboration with Fedustria and Centexbel).
ESMA was founded in 1990. ESMA’s focus lies on all industrial, functional, and specialized printing applications, as well as graphic applications that lead to disruptive developments in printed interior decoration, printed electronics, plastics (IMD and FIM), textiles and glass. ESMA’s objectives are to promote the adoption and correct use of various specialist printing processes. This mission is realized at multiple conferences (The Inkjet Conference, Direct Container Print, GlassPrint, Advanced Functional & Industrial Printing and Printed Interior Decoration).
With a substantial number of manufacturer members (representing machinery, equipment, software, and consumables sectors) and Technology Partners (consultants, printers, resellers, and developers), ESMA has become the Knowledge Hub of the industry.
