First ‘Screen Print India – Sourcing webinar” concluded

12 August 2020: The COVID-19 induced lockdown has kept sellers away from buyers owing to various advisories such as physical distance and onsite exhibitions have been cancelled and postponed. As businesses are on the verge of reopening, Screen Print India Expo is trying to give a jumpstart to connect sellers to their buyers. Screen Print India, an exhibition brand owned by Messe Frankfurt Trade Fairs India Pvt. Ltd, hosted a webinar on 5th August 2020 to bring buyers and sellers to closer. The webinar titled – Screen Print India – Sourcing webinar” – connected buyers with five leading suppliers as they presented their latest products and services.

Five companies made their corporate presentation virtually to the buyers mostly from textile printing field. These include Ranjith Kadiroo, Vice President, RISO India Pvt. Ltd; Raj Tanna, CEO & Founder, Schutzen Group; Manoj Umredkar, Marketing Manager, San Printech Pvt. Ltd; Prakash Chopra, Sr. Vice President Sales, Arrow Digital Pvt. Ltd., and Jayakarthikeyan Palanisamy, Product Representative, DCC Group.

In his presentation, Raj Tanna presented his company’s eco-friendly inks for textile printing. He said his company offers sustainable and innovative chemical solutions for Pretreatment, Dyeing, Printing, Finishing & Garments. He said that his company’s products are developed using innovative technology which makes the product hydrocarbon free, formaldehyde-free to a large extent. He presented two ready to use print paste concepts based on the activator being used; Ready-made paste to be used with formaldehyde-based activator and readymade paste to be used on a zero formaldehyde technology.

It was the turn of DCC’s Palanisamy who made a detailed presentation on DCC’s wide range of products and services, right from screen printing machinery to inks and chemicals, digital and sublimation machines and related products, allied equipment. In addition he also made presentations on DCC’s Experience Zone in Mumbai and Kaizen Institute in Tirupur. He ended his presentation by announcing the news of “DCC Group Acquires Grafica.”

Arrow Digital’s Prakash Chopra made presentation on Kornit’s high performance latest DTG. He took the audience to their demo centre in Ahmedabad wherein the company’s technical team performed live demonstration of printing dark and light garment on DTG. He also disclosed that Kornit now offers inks in a 5 litre container so that customers can avoid wastage of ink that otherwise occurs when they buy in small containers.

RISO India’s Ranjith Kadiroo presented 4 megatrends that energise the perfect storm in the market, viz, Personal Expression, Social Media Influence, E-commerce boom and Sustainability. He then virtually made a demonstration of RISO’s high-speed Digital Duplicators which he said are targeted to the Education sector, offices, commercial printers, government offices etc.

The last presenter was Manoj Umredkar of San Printech who made a presentation on the company’s wide range of products for commercial, industrial and textile screen printing, sourced from global brands. These include: Mesh from Sefar, Switzerland, Screen making Chemicals from Kiwo, Germany, UV & Speciality Inks from Encres Dubuit, France, PU Squeegees from Fimor, France and Speciality Varnishes for Coating as well as Printing from Schmid Rhyner, Switzerland.
