Four New National Institute of Design (NID) Established

12 February 2022: National Design Policy, 2007 envisaged that four new National Institutes of Design shall be set up in addition to the National Institute of Design, Ahmedabad. Accordingly, Government of India has recently established four new National Institutes of Design, one each in Andhra Pradesh, Assam, Haryana and Madhya Pradesh to cater to the requirements of different regions of the country. These four new NIDs have started functioning and are offering courses in Bachelor of Design to students from all across the country.
