Frankfurt Fashion Week to debut in July 2021

02 January 2021: Messe Frankfurt and Premium Group are gearing up to host Frankfurt Fashion Week from 05-09 July 2021. This will become the new home of a forward-looking, digital-savvy fashion and lifestyle community. From B2B, B2C and B2P to ladies’ and men’s collections and skate, mainstream, contemporary and high fashion – with its holistic ecosystem, Frankfurt Fashion Week includes tradeshows, conferences, runway shows and events.

The fashion fairs will turn Frankfurt into the new fashion metropolis: PREMIUM, Europe’s most relevant business platform for advanced women’s and menswear, SEEK, one of the most progressive tradeshows for contemporary fashion, and NEONYT, the leading hub for sustainable fashion, are central to Frankfurt Fashion Week.

Big data, blockchain, virtual reality, artificial intelligence, smart textiles, predictive analytics, 3D, digital retail experiences are all part of the real-digital reality for the fashion industry. Frankfurt Fashion Week will showcase applied digital innovations for a digital-savvy fashion culture and a networked way of doing business.

So, Frankfurt am Main will become the new metropolis for the global fashion and lifestyle community. With the topics of applied sustainability and digitisation, Frankfurt Fashion Week is a source of inspiration for everyone who loves fashion, celebrates fashion and wants to change fashion. Fashion, design, media, art and music – the events of Frankfurt Fashion Week bring Frankfurt’s creative scene together with the international fashion community. In skyscrapers, concert halls, bars, clubs, galleries and off-locations.

Frankfurt Fashion Week is positioning itself with a consistently sustainable agenda and propelling the transformation of a modern, resource-efficient fashion industry. The Conscious Fashion Campaign (CFC), working in collaboration with the United Nations Office for Partnerships (UNOP), will be the presenting partner and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) will be a prerequisite for all exhibitors by 2023. Digitisation and sustainability, the key drivers in the future success of the fashion business, will be the focus of the FashionSustain and FashionTech conferences.
