Traditional UV inks usually require high energy levels along with mercury-based curing lamps, hence, leading to more carbon emissions and an overall more intensive environmental impact. In contrast, our LED ink technology is designed to cure under low-energy LED lamps. This means no mercury and less energy consumption. Fujifilm JDL Series is proven to deliver excellent adhesion to all the film and paper substrates currently run and is even usable for shrink applications without adding chill rollers to press. The full ink line includes process colours, line colours and matching colours and even Fujifilm’s acclaimed Supernova White and varnishes. All at a price that’s competitive with the conventional UV ink currently using, running at UV ink speeds or even faster.
The exceptionally fast cure speed of these inks enables a wide range of anilox volumes to be used, which allows for a deeper more saturated colours in the final print.
