Grafica introduces Mechanical stretcher
15 May 2019, Mumbai : Following the launch of their Nano-Print 1015 semi automatic flat bed screen printing machine, Grafica Flextronica has introduced a new Mechanical Stretcher for polyester mesh stretching. Grafica’s mechanical stretcher is said to be easy to operate, compact, convenient and screen can be made quickly. The Mechanical stretcher is available in two sizes, viz, Max frame size: 20 inch x 26 inch and 36 inch x 40 inch.
“Screen is the Heart Of Printing and good Screens means good quality prints. And present day screen printing demands high density, high resolution and accurate outputs. Fabric tension plays an important part in achieving the desired results,” says Bhargav Mistry, Managing Director of Grafica, adding, “So, our new mechanical stretcher is a perfect solution for developing high tension screens in-house.”
Bhargav Mistry points out that with high tension frame, printers can obtain accurate registration and better sharpness in print. In addition, he says that, perfectly stretched frame reduces ink consumption and gives better ink coverage. Moreover, it increases stencil life and productivity. The final outcome is that it reduces wastage and rejection.
He further adds that Grafica’s mechanical stretcher is designed to pre-bow the frames while stretching and glueing and hence after the frame is removed from the stretching device, the screen mesh tension is retained. This reduces the tension loss further.
