IATF 2025 Strengthens Dubai’s Global Fashion Trade Role
28 May 2025: 19th International Apparel & Textile Fair (IATF), held from 20-22 May 2025 at Festival Arena, Dubai, wrapped up with outstanding success, reaffirming its status as the Gulf region’s leading B2B trade platform for the fashion and textile industry. Over the course of three dynamic days, the event welcomed more than 400 exhibitors from 23+ countries and drew over 4,850 trade buyers, marking a high-impact convergence of global sourcing and regional opportunities.
The fair brought together a diverse array of participants – from fabric experts and fashion manufacturers to accessory suppliers and innovators in sustainable design – positioning itself as a crucial destination for sourcing professionals seeking to expand, adapt, or enhance their production strategies in the Middle East and beyond.
“This edition was not just about connecting buyers and sellers; it was about forging long-term relationships, exploring next-gen innovations, and building sustainable futures,” stated Ms. Bhavna Nihalani, Show Director. “IATF continues to empower industry stakeholders and act as a bridge for international fashion trade.”
Global Participation & Regional Relevance
This year, IATF showcased a broad international footprint with participation from countries such as India, China, Turkey, Bangladesh, Italy, France, Russia, Australia, the UK and South Korea. Hong Kong made a remarkable impact with a dedicated national pavilion that underscored its leadership in global textiles and apparel innovation. Exhibitors highlighted their specialized production strengths tailored for Gulf markets.
Sustainability Takes Center Stage
Sustainability was a major focus in the 2025 edition, featuring a wider range of eco-friendly fabrics, ethical production models, and circular design concepts. The fair facilitated insightful conversations between buyers and suppliers about integrating sustainability into sourcing strategies with an emphasis on transparency, accountability, and long-term value.
Buyer-Friendly Experience
To ensure seamless sourcing, IATF offered free entry, on-site registration, a comfortable Buyers Lounge, and over 1,500 complimentary parking spaces. The event also included well-organized networking areas and a professional international atmosphere, making it an efficient and engaging experience for sourcing professionals.
Looking Forward: 20th Edition in November 2025
Building on a decade of successful editions, IATF is preparing for its 20th milestone event, set to return to Dubai World Trade Centre on November 17-19, 2025. As IATF continues to evolve and grow, it remains a pivotal sourcing platform and a trusted gateway for international fashion trade.
