How has Indian Dyes Sales Corporation (IDSC) grown and expanded its product range over the years ? What is the company’s USP that sets it apart ?
Indian Dyes Sales Corporation has experienced significant growth and expansion over the years by diversifying its product range and strengthening its market presence. Initially focused on only Plastisol, Water Based and Silicone Inks, the company has broadened its portfolio to include Pallet Paper, Screen Emulsion and Dopsing Oval + Digital Machines. This product diversification has enabled us to meet the evolving needs of our customers and tap into new markets.
Additionally, we have expanded our geographical footprint by opening new offices in key regions, including Tirupur, Ludhiana, Mumbai and most recently Kolkata. This strategic placement allows for better customer service, quicker delivery times and localized support, which enhances overall client satisfaction.
IDSC has recently taken up the Distributorship of Chinese Textile Screen Printing Machine (Oval); what were the reasons for this expansion of the product range at this stage ?
IDSC has earned a strong reputation and goodwill in the ink business over the years. This foundation of trust and customer loyalty provides a solid platform to venture into something new. As textile printing technologies advance, customers seek the latest, more efficient, and higher-quality machinery so by offering Dopsing Oval + Digital screen printing machines, we aim to cater to this demand and provide the latest in technology. It was also a strategic decision to embrace a new challenge and push boundaries, demonstrating our commitment to innovation and growth in the industry.
What is the type of demand that you anticipate for this new machine ? Which geographical areas will you be targeting ?
Our industry is increasingly adopting modern, automated, and high-quality machinery so the demand might be slow initially but we are confident that once our Buying Houses and Garment Manufacturers understand the benefits, they will start adopting this new technology. We will be selling the machines in all parts of India except Tirupur as we have our friend Mr. Ramesh selling Dopsing machines in Tirupur for the last 3 years.
How do you see this new development driving growth at IDSC going ahead ?
Offering Dopsing Oval + Digital machines, complements our existing Matsui Digital Ink business, enabling us to provide a complete one-stop solution for the customers, thereby enhancing customer satisfaction and loyalty. It enables us to stay at the forefront of industry advancements, reinforce the market leadership, and continue delivering value to the customers through the latest technological offerings.
How do you see the scope for textile screen printing going forward ? How will this drive the demand for your machine ?
The scope for textile screen printing is expected to grow significantly in the coming years due to the recent Free Trade Agreement (FTA) with the UK. It is a positive development that will boost the export potential of the Indian printing industry. This will indirectly create a favorable landscape for our machines and support our expansion.
