India ITME 2026 Scheduled for 4-9 December in Greater Noida
09 September 2026: India ITME 2026 is scheduled for 4-9 December 2026 at India Exposition Mart Ltd. in Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh. The announced 12th edition will bring textile machinery suppliers and buyers together, with technology sourcing and manufacturing investment.
India ITME 2026: announced scale and purpose
The organiser is the India International Textile Machinery Exhibitions Society, known as India ITME Society. Its objectives include encouraging textile machinery manufacturing in India, connecting suppliers with agents and distributors, and supporting joint ventures and technology transfer.
Screen Print India’s announcement, dated 10 April 2025, reported expectations of more than 1,800 exhibitors across 20 product chapters and more than 150,000 visitors over six days. These are advance projections, not confirmed exhibitor totals or recorded attendance. Buyers should check the final exhibitor directory before making appointments.
The distinction matters for an equipment purchase: an exhibition’s announced breadth does not establish that a particular supplier, machine model or production process will be available for inspection. A supplier appointment should identify the equipment and samples that a visitor can actually assess.
What should textile printers compare ?
For textile printers and garment decorators planning a visit, a useful starting point is the production problem they need to solve. Buyers can prepare questions about screen and digital printing, colour control, drying and curing, or downstream washing and finishing without assuming that every process will feature in a live demonstration.
Ask suppliers to explain performance on the intended fabric and ink combination, rather than relying on a machine’s headline speed. A sample assessment should also cover repeatability, changeover requirements, operator input and the treatment needed after printing.
Water and energy use deserve the same scrutiny. Screen Print India’s coverage of the Textile Printing & Sustainability conference provides related reading on colour management, workflow automation and resource reduction. That is separate industry context, not confirmation of India ITME’s programme.
Assess the full production cost
A machinery comparison should extend beyond the purchase price. Request a written account of consumables, maintenance intervals, spare-parts availability and local service arrangements. Where a supplier promises lower waste or faster changeovers, ask for the operating conditions behind the claim. Keep written quotations and sample specifications so competing offers remain comparable.
Training also belongs in that discussion. Coverage of Epson’s Textile Academy workshops offers related context on practical exposure to textile printing processes. For an equipment buyer, the immediate question is what installation support and operator instruction a supplier includes in its quotation.
Visitors seeking a distributor relationship or a technology partnership should prepare a different brief: target markets, service responsibilities and the proposed comercial arrangement. Those conversations fit the exhibition’s stated business objectives, but the event itself does not guarantee an agreement or investment.
