India Wins 7 Awards at ASGA 2025 Print Competition
03 October 2025: Focusing the spotlight on excellence, the 12th ASGA Print Awards were announced during the DSPE China International Screen & Digital Intelligent Printing Expo fair (DSPE China) 2025, organized by the China Screen Printing & Graphic Imaging Association (CSGIA) in collaboration with Guangzhou Teyin Exhibition Service Co. Ltd. which took place from August 7-9 at the Shanghai New International Expo Center.
India made a strong impact as winning entries by 4 printers took the nation’s overall tally to 7 awards inspiring many more to make efforts going forward. Vasit Prints bagged two Bronze Awards, Cutek Circuits India (P) Ltd. bagged 1 Silver Award, Ocean’s Deep Printers bagged 1 Silver Award and 2 Bronze Awards while Sainath Polylam bagged 1 Bronze Award.
A highlight of this year’s expo, the 12th ASGA Print Award recognized outstanding achievements in printing quality, creativity and technical mastery. 195 entries were submitted for the 12th ASGA Print Awards, among which 53 were from Japan, Thailand, India and Korea. Hundreds of fabulous printing works from the Asian-pacific region featured the best commercial print, packaging innovation, sustainable print and artistic application. Live judging was conducted by a panel of industry experts, with winning entries displayed in a dedicated exhibition zone.
Jennifer Shen, Chairwoman of ASGA and Chairman of China Screen Printing & Graphic Imaging Association (CSGIA), congratulated the winners and thanked SGAI for its great support to ASGA activities. She said, “ASGA Print Award embodies our commitment to pushing the boundaries of print technology and artistry. This is a unique platform to honour the best in the industry and inspire future innovations.”
Anil Bhrahmbhatt, President, Screenprinting & Graphics Association of India (SGAI), the official national association of the screen printing industry, which represents the country and its screen printing industry at various forums across India and the globe, as well as being the Founder & Managing Director SkyScreen International (P) Ltd., praised the award-winning Indian printers. “SGAI has always been a key member of ASGA; our office bearers attend the ASGA Board Meetings and participate in trade fairs supported by ASGA and its member countries associations, so it is a matter of immense pride that our screen printers have ensured that India continues to make a strong impact in the Asia Pacific region with these medals. I extend heartiest congratulations to these four ASGA Print Awards 2025 winners from India and hope that their achievements will motivate other printers from India to also enter their creative entries at this forum going forward,” he said.

Vasit Prints, Tirupur – Two Bronze Awards in Textile Printing

As an Indian I feel very proud and this the second consecutive presentation ceremony where we have been announced as winners of the ASGA Print Awards, so our triumph is greater. In the year 2014, we had started out with trading of transfer stickers. After a year or so Siddhuraju was confident to print much better quality with more varieties so we decided to have our own printing unit in 2015. With our printing experience and expertise, we planned to produce unique transfer sticker technology for the garment industry, a segment where very few people are producing and majority are importing.
We commenced our journey in the year 2016 with four tables at a rented place. Siddhuraju’s 25 years of experience, boosted our morale to put up a facility of manual machines and performing direct fabric printing. Looking at our quality, customers began enquiring whether we do fabric printing. Thereby our orders started increasing with our speciality printing and customer service. We can proudly say that a few of the transfer stickers from us are exclusive and no one else can make them. We have a production capability of 1,00,000 transfer stickers per day, 10,000+ pieces direct fabric printing. Our team comprises 100+ staff members; our unit is spread across a sprawling area and is well equipped with technologically advanced machines. Today we have more than 250 satisfied customers in India and abroad who appreciate our quality and services. We are manufacturing various variety of transfer stickers for multinational brands like Puma, Lee, Wrangler, Ck, Pepe Jeans, Diesel, S O’liver and many more, also major domestic brands like Dollar, Spykar, Mufti, Indian Terrain, etc.

The ASGA Print Awards were established in 2001. It is one of the longest running accolades in the Asia-Pacific region for visual communications, recognising screen printing, special effect printing, digital printing, etc. It is organised by ASGA (Asia Screen Printing & Graphic Imaging Association), which represents screen printing associations from 11 leading countries in the Asia Pacific. ASGA was founded in 1994 in order to address the specific needs of the screen printing / graphic imaging industries in Asia. Originally it was called APSPA (Asia Pacific Screen Printing Association). In 1998 it was renamed to ASGA to better reflect its inclusion of “Graphic Imaging” as well as screen printing.
