Indian Printers Summit 2022 held in New Delhi

17 October 2022: Indian Printers Summit 2022, the annual event of WAN-IFRA, was held on 14-15 September 2022 at Radisson Blu Plaza Delhi Airport. The event was organized to celebrate print success in the region and to discuss the way forward for longevity of print. The event was created around the theme “Back to business – Print for the Future” and the curated set of keynotes and panel discussions which helped shape the thought leadership for the print industry. The Indian Printers Summit shed light on the advertisement expenditure scenario and the revival of print in India post pandemic.

The event started on 14 September afternoon with the keynote on ‘Future of print in digital world’, which discussed the imperatives of print business. A mini networking expo to learn about the latest products and services from suppliers industry and a celebration ‘gala’ dinner in the evening was held the same day. Next day, on 15 September, participants gathered for full day of conference sessions and networking expo.

The Event was attended by CEOs, Managing Directors, Technical Directors, Production Heads, Plant Managers, Prepress Managers and other senior news publishing leaders. There were 200+ participants from WAN-IFRA member companies and other publishers from India and rest of South Asia. Three industry insiders joined a roundtable discussion on the post pandemic revival of print and the ensuing business opportunities during WAN-IFRA’s recent Indian Printers Summit in New Delhi. While COVID wreaked havoc on the print newspaper industry, there are at last some signs of recovery for India’s publishers, with some industry experts reporting rebounding circulation and advertising revenues.
