Industrial Print Excellence Awards 2023 to Honour Industrial Screen Printing in India
23 December 2022: Messe Frankfurt India together with the Screenprinting & Graphics Association of India (SGAI) are pleased to announce the ‘Industrial Print Excellence Awards – 2023’ (IPEA). To be held during Media Expo’s milestone 50th edition at Bombay Exhibition Centre, IPEA will recognise and celebrate innovation excellence in industrial screen printing through 20 categories.
The industrial printing category includes membrane switch/touch panels; automobile – decal printing (two/four wheeler graphics), automobile – speedometer, gauges/dials, automobile; consumer goods – membrane panel printing for refrigerators, washing machines, etc; doming application – mobile phone printing (body panel, keypad, inner pad, circuit, etc); solar cell application, printed electronics – PCBs and flexible PCBs, printed electronics – mobile phone printing (body panel, keypad, inner pad etc), ceramic decoration (tiles and ceramic products); the value addition category covers packing and commercial print finishing; the special category includes security printing and smart/credit card printing; while the other categories cover educational projects by students

The screen-printing industry in India could be called multicoloured and multi-layered. It has its presence across segments like ceramic, industrial, CDs, POPs, advertising and digital including textiles. Though the sector is young, the screen-printing industry has been continuously expanding at a healthy annual growth rate in excess of 15%.
