Inkcups plans UV and pad printing demos at PRINTING United 2026

16 September 2026: Inkcups announced plans to demonstrate UV direct-to-object and pad printing equipment at PRINTING United 2026, scheduled for September 23-25 at the Las Vegas Convention Center. The company plans to mark its 25th year with demonstrations aimed at decorators considering more varied product shapes and applications.

In its September 1, 2026 announcement, Inkcups identifies Booth C1215 as its location and names seven machines for the display. The official Expo website confirms the dates and venue. These are planned demonstrations, not a report of completed show activity.

What will Inkcups bring to PRINTING United 2026?

The digital lineup comprises the Helix High Throw UV Cylindrical Printer, X5-T High Throw flatbed printer and Helix ONE benchtop cylindrical printer. Inkcups also plans to run the B100 and 2200-PS pad printers, alongside Cobalt Edge and Cobalt Pro+ laser plate-makers.

For visitors, the distinction is practical: the cylindrical and flatbed systems address different product shapes, while the pad printers and plate-makers cover another decoration workflow. The announced samples include drinkware, bowls, chopsticks and lens cloths rather than printed sheets.

High Throw targets harder-to-decorate shapes

Inkcups says the Helix High Throw accommodates height variations of up to 15 mm on cylindrical and conical products. Its intended applications include stepped vessels, products with handle-attachment posts, pet bowls and planters. Screen Print India’s report on the Helix High Throw launch provides further background on the machine.

The company launched the printer in June 2026 and subsequently announced a Pinnacle Technology Award from PRINTING United Alliance. At the Expo, Inkcups plans to use it for bowls and stemless wine tumblers.

The X5-T applies High Throw technology to flatbed printing. According to Inkcups, the increased distance between printhead and substrate allows printing on contoured or irregular objects, including coolers and luggage. That capability should not be confused with the cylindrical printer’s stated height-variation specification.

The Helix ONE will appear alongside a personalisation kiosk, with latte cups among its planned samples. The compact printer handles straight-walled and tapered cylindrical products. Earlier Helix ONE product updates explain its file-handling and application changes.

Pad printing and plate-making complete the display

Inkcups positions the B100 one-colour tabletop printer as an option for garment labels and promotional items; its planned Expo application is chopsticks. The two-colour 2200-PS uses a pneumatic pad-slide mechanism that keeps the garment stationary between colours and Inkcups plans to demonstrate it on lens cloths.

Both machines also featured in the company’s earlier decorated-apparel printing preview, which offers context on their tagless-label applications.

For plate preparation, the announced lineup includes the 20-watt MOPA fibre-laser Cobalt Edge with EdgeWrite software. Inkcups also plans to demonstrate the Cobalt Pro+, a CO2 laser plate-maker launched in July 2026. The company describes the Pro+ as up to 20% faster than its predecessor; that is a manufacturer claim, not an independently verified production benchmark.
