ISPO Munich Online event attracts more than 31,000 visitors

24 February 2021: Sport is stronger. Sport helps us tackle the challenges of our society. Sport overcomes borders and unites everyone. And the entire Sports industry played an import role in making the recent ISPO Munich Online a great success. The virtual event, held on February 1 to 5, 2021, attracted more than 31.000 participants from 110 countries. The organizers have also arranged for the first time “Public Streams” for the end consumer.

The digital edition of ISPO Munich had 540 exhibitors, including adidas Terrex, Gore, Icebreaker and Mammut. The conference program with over 150 keynotes, workshops, and panels was dedicated to the social megatrends of sustainability, health, digitalization and creativity.

The Expo Area – experience innovations and new products, is now open until March 26 2021. In the Expo Area, exhibitors meet retailers, buyers, and all those who are looking for the most important trends and innovations.

The conference, focused on megatrends, is now available on-demand. Each day of the ISPO Munich Online Conference was dedicated to a focus topic: Innovation & Creativity, Digitalization, Health and Sustainability. In total ISPO Munich Online offered more than 150 exhibitor workshops, keynotes and interdisciplinary round tables.

Insights from athletes, fitness and workout programs to participate in, as well as stories and short films from sports and outdoor, were part of the Public Streams under the banner of ISPO Munich Online 2021.

Meanwhile, there was a “Run for Good”, the ISPO charity run for the preservation of the mountains. The races are held over 5, 10 and 21 kilometres, separated into men and women. For all participants under 13 years of age there is a separate kids classification over 1.6 km. The sum of all donations for registration will benefit the Kilian Jornet Foundation for their current projects to protect the mountains and their natural resources.
