Jai Graphitech Introduces Latest Flatbed and Rotary CTS Engravers

19 November 2021: Established 6 years ago, Jai Graphitech is making rapid progress in the manufacture and supply of Computer to Screen (CtS), digital engravers. These systems are widely used by garment units and rotary and flatbed textile printing sector (job workers as well as textile dyeing and printing mills) in Surat, Mumbai region (Bhiwandi, Thane etc), Kolkata, Delhi NCR, some parts of Punjab, Kanpur, Banaras, Tirupur, Erode, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, etc.

They have also exported to Bangladesh and Indonesia. In addition, CTS, the company has also started offering flatbed digital printing machines for a wide range of applications under the brand name SPEEDJET.

Jai Graphitech Piezo flatbed screen engraver is available in print widths of 1,800 mm and Print Length of 2,000mm (as per requirement) with support for upto 1,440 DPI print resolution. This engraver is an ideal solution for little creation houses. Additionally, the company offers an economy model of this type of engraver.

Jai Graphitech Speedjet Rotary Screen Exposing Machine is available in maximum print length of 1500 mm and maximum screen Length of 1,750 mm with support to 300 x 300, 600 x 600 up to 1,440 DPI print resolution. This screen exposing machine ensures great outcomes with single-or multicolor imprinting on various substrates like home materials, design, specialized materials, divider covering etc.

CTS is playing an important role in the modern textile printing due to the fact that this sector needs hundreds of screens to be developed on a daily basis, owing to multi-colour textile screen printing jobs in large format. As CTS eliminates film output and use of jumbo exposure units and facilitates hassle free direct engraving (exposure) of design on the duly coated frame, at least one major savings is achieved in the entire screen making system, which is otherwise a voluminous job.

“CTS has thus become an indispensable tool in the textile screen printing’s screen making department. The adoption of CTS is increasing day by day in textile printing and also it is spreading to other segments of the screen printing world,” says Nitin Rajendrapal Kulhari, Director of Jai Graphitech, Vapi.

He adds “Almost 80% of our supply is to the textile industry and only 10-20% into the garment printing segment. While the textile sector is the early adopter of CTS, in the garment printing line there is not much awareness about its usage and benefits and they are still using traditional systems although the automatic multi-colour carousel machines and oval machines need so many frames daily. And the industrial and commercial printing segment have also not much understood the CTS concept,”

“We as a company are still fine tuning our CTS based on our regular customer feedback and aspire to become one of the best CTS suppliers in the world as myself is an electronic engineer. We have supplied CTS for 3×3 mtr print area to a carpet manufacturer and one big 40×40 inch CTS to a garment printer. We are capable of offering customized sizes both for rotary and flatbed textile printing,” says Nitin.

“As for service, our machines require very minimum maintenance and we have company engineers stationed in Gujarat, Delhi NCR and Kolkata and we have a dealer network as well to sort out any service issues from time to time. Our machines are fitted with Piezo inkjet printheads and we also offer thermal engravers as well. Jai Graphitech offers support through “Remote Diagnosis”. Onsite servicing and AMC’s are also available,” he adds.

Jai Graphitech’s parent company Runkis Industries is spread over 4,000 sq. mtr. and the new plant of Jai Graphitech is an over 10,000 sq. ft. factory with R&D and training cum demo centre in Vapi.
