Jammu Printers Association (JPA) Celebrates Landmark 45th Foundation Day

16 February 2026: The Jammu Printers Association (JPA) marked a historic milestone in its legacy, celebrating its 45th Foundation Day with a grand ceremony that resonated with professional excellence and industry solidarity. The event served as a powerful testament to nearly five decades of growth, innovation, and unity within the regional printing sector.

The silver jubilee plus twenty years was elevated to a pinnacle of prestige by the arrival of the entire executive body of the All India Federation of Master Printers (AIFMP). Leading the national delegation was C. Ravinder Reddy, President of AIFMP, who, along with his core team of office bearers were at the venue to honour the association’s journey.

The programme started with a welcome address by Sanjeev Verma, president Jammu Printers Association (JPA). He then presented a floral bouquet and a memento to C. Ravinder Reddy, President, AIFMP, as a token of respect. Similarly, the entire team were treated alike by being presented bouquets and mementos by other members of JPA including S.K. Gupta, Adarsh Pal Gupta, S. Joginder Singh, Sushil Sharma, S. Ravinder Singh and office bearers of JPA Vikas Mahajan, R. K. Abrol, Vinod Gupta and Nageshwar Naryan.

The highlight of the event was the presentation of the Life Time Achievement award to S. K. Gupta of Sher-i-state printers, a veteran of Jammu Printing Industry and backbone of JPA by C Ravinder Reddy, President, All India Federation of Master Printers, amid huge applause.
Afterwards a souvenir and calendar for the year 2026 were also released.

The programme started with a welcome address by Sanjeev Verma, President Jammu Printers Association. He welcomed all the guests and members and their families of JPA who were present for the event. The programme was anchored by Rajni and supported by Vikas Mahajan, R. K. Abrol, Nageshwar Narayan, Vinod Gupta the office bearers and Raj Kumar, the Executive Member of JPA. In between, Adarsh Pal Gupta took the mike to provide knowledge about JPA to AIFMP’s members.

Pankaj Sethi, President and Sanjay Soni, General Secretary, from J&K Offset Printers Association (JKOPA) graced the occasion, highlighting a unified front for the printing fraternity across the union territory.

“The 45th Foundation Day is not just a celebration of years passed, but a celebration of our resilience,” said representatives of the JPA, adding that “having the AIFMP leadership here validates our efforts and places Jammu firmly on the national printing map.”

The Jammu Printers Association (JPA) is the premier representative body for the printing industry in Jammu. Founded 45 years ago, it has worked tirelessly to address the challenges of local printers, advocate for better infrastructure, and foster a community of learning and mutual growth.

The sponsors too were honoured through members of the association by presenting mementoes and gifts.

The vote of thanks was presented by Sohail Kazmi, a printer, journalist and social activist who gave a hilarious and encouraging speech to the printing fraternity who had gathered there along with their spouses.
