Kumar V. Gade succumbs to Covid-19 after brief hospitalisation

29 October 2020: Kumar  V. Gade, who was working as Regional Manager (Western India) for Vivid Chemicals, New Delhi (Manufacturers. of Offset Chemicals) and J. N. Arora Group, passed away on October 29, 2020 in Mumbai due to Covid-19 at 54 years of age.He had been hospitalized from the last 5-6 days.

Kumar was associated with screen printing industry from the last 30 years. He started his career in the screen printing industry with Mac Inks (Merchant Sir) and then it was Photokina, Autoscreen and after that Saati India as Marketing Manager. He had a very good rapport and knowledge about the dealer network in Western India. He was well known in the region among the dealers and distributors.

Kumar was helpful in nature and always supporting the industry colleagues. This incident is once again a grim reminder for the sales / marketing people who are moving around and have to visit many shops in a day to be careful and take necessary precautions about the corona pandemic.

Kumar is survived by his son and wife. May the almighty give them the strength to bear this loss. On behalf of the screen printing industry, the Screen Print India team extends heartfelt condolences and offers prayers for the departed soul. He will be missed by all of us.
