The blog is authored by Harveer Sahni, Chairman of Weldon Celloplast Ltd., New Delhi. He has spent over 43 years in the label industry since he installed his first coater at Weldon for siliconizing in 1978 and later started manufacturing labelstock followed by becoming a total solutions supplier to the label manufacturing companies, representing international brands of equipment and tooling.
Sharing his knowledge gained over the years with the industry, he made his first presentation on the Indian market as a part of the Cham Pressure Sensitive symposium in 2003 at St. Moritz Switzerland. Thereafter he has been writing for International Print magazines like Labels and Labeling, LNW(Label and Narrow Web), Narrow Web Tech, FINAT and others. His articles have also been published in leading printing magazines in India like Printweek, Packaging South Asia, Press Ideas besides others. He has been the only Indian on the FINAT (European Labels Association) committees for many years He was the first recipient of a lifetime support award by LMAI (Label Manufacturers Association of India).
