Lamborghini ties up with KABOOKI
05 February 2020, Mumbai : What’s in a car ? What’s in a Kidswear ? Come on, Lamborghini, an Italian brand and manufacturer of luxury sports cars and SUVs, has recently tied up with KABOOKI, a Danish children’s wear specialist, a perfect fusion of cars and garments! Both the brands have signed licensing agreement for a dynamic top-to-toe kidswear collection to be launched in the Fall/Winter 2020 season.
KABOOKI is the Danish company behind LEGO®Wear with showrooms in Copenhagen, Munich, Stockholm, India and Shanghai. LEGO Wear is all about Functional Active Play Wear for kids between 0-14 years. On the other hand, Automobili Lamborghini has created a continuous series of dream cars over half a century.
According to an official communique from Lamborghini, the new products will be launched in Italy, Scandinavia, Germany, Austria, the UK and the US. Kids from four to fourteen years of age will be able to enjoy the world of their favorite super sports cars in the shape of kids’ apparel.
“Since the design is so essential, we started searching for the right design profile. An international profile who could interpret all details from the cars into the clothes such as the iconic Y-shape, the hexagon shapes and all the small little details that all Lamborghini connoisseurs can spot immediately,” says Christopher Silcowitz, CEO at KABOOKI.
Commenting on the development, Katia Bassi, Chief Marketing and Communication Officer of Automobili Lamborghini, said: “We see our brand DNA clearly interpreted in the right way through this range. Our brand is for real lovers of Lamborghini, and we want this passion to start from childhood.”
