Gallus and HEIDELBERG Plan Screeny Indian Debut at LOUPE India 2026

25 September 2026: Gallus and HEIDELBERG will exhibit at LOUPE India 2026, scheduled for 29 October to 1 November at the India Expo Centre & Mart, Greater Noida. Their planned Screeny Printing Unit debut will focus on adding rotary screen-printing capability to Indian converters’ existing production lines.

According to the companies’ exhibition announcement, visitors will find the joint team at Booth K14. Gallus, a subsidiary of Heidelberger Druckmaschinen AG, says the presentation will combine equipment with application advice, software, consumables, service and training.

What Gallus plans for LOUPE India 2026

The central exhibit will be the Gallus Screeny Printing Unit, which the company introduced in 2025. Gallus describes the forthcoming appearance as its Indian debut.

The compact, independent module brings rotary screen printing to narrow-web production environments. Gallus says its cross-brand design supports installation on presses from different manufacturers, giving converters a retrofit option for adding high-opacity colours and fine details.

Screeny specifications and retrofit considerations

The official Screeny specifications list a mechanical speed range of 1-120 metres per minute, print widths of 340, 440 and 580 mm and substrate thicknesses of 40-400 microns. The maximum material passage width is 600 mm.

The 120-metre-per-minute figure describes the unit’s mechanical rating. Converters considering a retrofit should confirm press compatibility, substrate requirements and curing arrangements for their intended work.

Gallus also lists automated format and spacing adjustment, screen-breakage monitoring and a 10-inch colour touch panel. These details give prospective buyers specific functions to assess during discussion.

Production support beyond the printing unit

Samir Patkar, President of HEIDELBERG India, said converters increasingly need help connecting equipment with software, consumables and application expertise. The companies frame their joint presence around that wider production requirement.

Dr. David Schmedding, HEIDELBERG’s Chief Technology and Sales Officer, said the company is strengthening local sales and service capabilities, investing in demonstration facilities and expanding its partner network.

The joint portfolio spans conventional, hybrid and digital printing. Earlier coverage of Gallus digital and hybrid launches provides background on that range.

A broader event for label converters

The official LOUPE India website confirms the dates and venue. Formerly Labelexpo India, the event now also covers flexible packaging, including shrink sleeves and pouches, alongside inline carton converting and smart-label technologies.

That broader remit fits Gallus’s stated application range, which includes pressure-sensitive and security labels, tube laminates, in-mould labels and light carton packaging. Readers planning a visit can consult Screen Print India’s registration and event overview. The exhibition remains a forthcoming event; the companies’ announcement describes planned exhibits, not completed demonstrations or measured customer results.
