Monotech Systems Introduces Pixeljet UVmini – An Entry-Level Flatbed Printer for Small UV Printing Businesses

The printer is designed for small and medium volume printing requirements of ‘Promotional product market place’. The printer effectively fills the gap between slow, light-duty inkjet printers and the high-end, expensive in-line machines. Pixeljet UVmini is designed to meet the increasing UV printer market for the business result that middle and small-sized enterprises can afford to get a UV printer to meet the increasing market for the personalized product.

Pixeljet UVmini is equipped with industrial, high resolution, piezo-electric grayscale print heads-standard with 5 Ricoh GH2220 heads. Its rugged, industrial design allows continuous printing, 24 x 7.

Constructed with an industrial Y frame and structure, the machine is heavy duty and built to last. The high performance of the industrial servo motor provides excellent control of the movement of the shuttle. It has a separate negative pressure system for white and color ink supply with digital control and greater pressure display gauges to increase printing speed and stability. The vacuum bed holds media steady to ensure stable printing. The vacuum system can be turned ON/OFF easily from the control panel by a button. Mechanical alignment point allows accurate and consistent media placement.

The printer can print up to 100cm×160cm in size with a Printing resolution of 720 × 1,200dpi / 720 × 900dpi. The machine uses UV LED Curable Inks – C,M,Y,K White(Standard), Varnish (Optional).
