Nagesh Bhardwaj – Passionate bike rider moves with confidence in sublimation printing biz

12 November 2020: Nagesh Bhardwaj, the owner of Gurgaon based The Printing Hub, is a passionate bike rider. He graduated in Machine Engineering from Dronacharya College of Engineering. “I developed an interest in bike riding since my college days. I own superbikes such as Royal Enfield, Pulzer, etc. I am also passionate about cars. On a bike ride, 500-600 km – Rohtak to Manali was my longest route. Such a long ride needs fitness. I do regular fitness workouts. There are often challenges on the way which we have to deal with. We carry all necessary Safety Kit, Foodstuff, Medicine and take a break in between. Our ride involves about 125+ kms. per hour speed yet we are alert and cautious. We take night halts and continue our ride early morning. As a matter of practice, I go to workplace bike only. As businessmen, we should have some kind of stress busters and leisure activity such as a long bike or car ride. And I always believe in fitness.”

Amid COVID-19 pandemic which has affected the entire garment/fashion industry, The Printing Hub is slowly making a comeback. The company has Epson L1800 sublimation printer and mug decoration machines, all housed in a 500 sq. ft. production unit. “My company was set up in 2005, to provide complete office printing services,” says Bhardwaj. The company offers decoration services for Mugs, t-shirts, MDF photo frames, mousepads, Aprons, keyrings, sweatshirts, masks, cap, lanyards, Wall Clocks, Name badges, Tea Coasters, Sipper bottles, etc. They have both individual and corporate clients in Delhi NCR. The company also undertakes screen printing on t-shirts.

Riding a bike on difficult terrain or driving growth in a highly competitive sublimation market is challenging. Only innovators and tactful business strategies can only keep the business growing, says Nagesh Bhardwaj. “COVID has bad affected our businesses. Orders are now slowly coming in albeit slowly.” He says that the sublimation market is getting overcrowded and in future, only the creative and innovators will take the lead for which investment into latest technologies are desirable. “One has to observe and study the trends and consumers taste. Customers want more personalized products. We need to have multi technologies in place to meet the diverse needs of customers.”
