Offset Printers’ Association (OPA) Honoured at WEPACK 2026 in Shenzhen, China
22 April 2026: The Offset Printers’ Association (OPA), a leading voice of India’s printing and packaging industry, was felicitated during the Supporting Associations Appreciation & Medal Presentation Ceremony at WEPACK 2026, the World Expo of Packaging Industry held in Shenzhen from April 15-17, 2026. Michael Cheng, President of RX Greater China (the organizers of WEPACK), presented the Award of Appreciation to OPA in recognition of its outstanding contributions as a supporting association and its sustained efforts towards the overall development of the printing and packaging sector.

Prof. Kamal Mohan Chopra, General Secretary OPA and President of the Integrated Printing, Photography & Multimedia Technologists’ Association (IPPAMTA), received the memento on behalf of the association from Michael Cheng, President of RX China, during the ceremony. OPA has been actively working for the holistic development of the printing and packaging industry for several decades. The association has consistently focused on skill development and print education, supporting the growth of young professionals, organizing knowledge-sharing programs, and promoting collaboration and networking among various industry associations. Its efforts have significantly contributed to elevating the standards and global visibility of the Indian printing fraternity.
