OPA Celebrated Gutenberg Festival

17 June 2022: Annual Gutenberg Festival was organized at Millennium World School at Ranjit Avenue Part 2, Ludhiana on 18th March 2022. The partners, directors, owner and family members managing the unit registered with OPA participated along with their families participated in the ‘Gutenberg Festival.’

Inaugurating the event, Kushl Kumar Jain, Senior Vice President said “I am thrilled to see the presence of member families and their excitement for the event. It is a fact that due to COVID it was not possible to organize the physical events and it is perhaps after two years we are gathered physically once again. We celebrate the day in the name of Johannes Gutenberg, ‘Father of Modern Printing’ and OPA Carnival is a part of this annual festival. I am really feeling honoured with the presence of members of printers associations of Samana, Dhuri, Batala, Jammu and Jalandhar who are here along with their families.”

Earlier speaking on the occasion, Prof. Kamal Mohan Chopra highlighted the details and necessity of such functions and said, with the passage of time we are forgetting our own traditions and meeting each other. With internet we came closer to the outside word but started overlooking our friends and relatives. We meet almost daily, several time daily with each other but virtually. Internet is creating the physical distance and person is becoming alone and self-cantered.”

During Gutenberg Festival, lucky draw was organized from amongst the persons who contributed donation of Rs.1,000/- each for activities of OPA.
