Uttar Pradesh PackTex 2026 Spotlights Next-Generation Packaging Solutions

15 September 2026: Uttar Pradesh PackTex Expo 2026 is set to bring the packaging, material-conversion and supply-chain industries together in Varanasi on 19-20 November 2026. The exhibition will be held at the Varanasi Trade Centre, also known as Deendayal Hastkala Sankul, providing manufacturers, technology suppliers, converters and buyers with a focused platform to explore emerging packaging requirements and business opportunities.

Presented as a comprehensive exhibition for the packaging value chain, PackTex 2026 will cover technologies and solutions ranging from raw materials and package production to filling, sealing, coding, labelling, handling and distribution. The event is expected to attract professionals serving food and beverages, pharmaceuticals, personal care, FMCG, e-commerce, retail and industrial manufacturing.

Exhibitors are likely to showcase packaging and converting machinery, flexible-packaging solutions, corrugated-box equipment, paper and board products, printing technologies, labels, adhesives, inks, films, foils and other consumables. Inspection systems, automation, robotics, warehousing equipment and logistics technologies will further connect package manufacturing with the wider supply chain.

The exhibition comes at a time when demand for reliable, attractive and sustainable packaging is increasing across India. Growth in processed foods, organised retail, pharmaceutical manufacturing and e-commerce is encouraging brand owners to seek packaging that combines product protection, shelf appeal, traceability and production efficiency. Manufacturers are also evaluating recyclable materials, lightweight structures and energy-efficient equipment to meet changing environmental and regulatory expectations.

Uttar Pradesh offers a strong market for such technologies because of its large population, extensive MSME base and expanding manufacturing infrastructure. Its numerous food-processing, agricultural, pharmaceutical, leather, electronics and consumer-product enterprises require packaging for both domestic distribution and exports. The state’s One District One Product programme has also created opportunities for improved packaging that can strengthen the presentation, protection and marketability of regional products.

Varanasi provides PackTex with access to business communities across eastern Uttar Pradesh and neighbouring markets. Better highways, freight networks and logistics infrastructure are improving the movement of machinery, raw materials and finished goods. The venue’s location can help technology providers reach businesses that may not regularly participate in packaging exhibitions held in larger metropolitan centres.

Live equipment demonstrations and direct discussions with technical specialists are expected to be important attractions. Visitors can compare machinery, evaluate materials, understand production requirements and discuss investments with potential suppliers. Exhibitors, meanwhile, can connect with converters, entrepreneurs, procurement teams, distributors and manufacturers seeking new capacity.
