Ricoh Introduces A3 Monochrome MFP IM 6010/4510/3510/2510
31 January 2026: Ricoh announced that it will launch four new A3 monochrome multifunction printers – RICOH IM 6010, IM 4510, IM 3510, and IM 2510 in January, 2026. The new lineup is designed to support digital transformation while maintaining strong paper-based output capabilities across offices, public institutions and industry-specific environments. New IM series focuses on three core value areas: high-speed document digitization, efficient and flexible paper output, and next-generation security and sustainability.
High-Speed Scanning
At the center of the new lineup is an optional one-pass duplex ADF, capable of scanning up to 300 images per minute. The ADF supports a wide range of paper sizes and thicknesses, including small-format documents such as business cards and receipts, significantly improving efficiency in digitization-heavy workflows.
By capturing both sides of documents in a single pass, the system enhances productivity while reducing mechanical stress on originals. Optional features such as double-feed detection and a post-scan stamping unit help prevent scanning errors and ensure document traceability during large-scale digitization projects.
Advanced Finishing and Folding
To support downstream paper workflows, Ricoh has strengthened finishing capabilities across the series. A newly enhanced 3,000-sheet finisher now supports up to 3,200 sheets and offers staple-free binding for up to 10 pages, enabling more environmentally friendly output options.
Optional internal folding units support Z-fold, bi-fold, and tri-fold configurations, including stacked folding of up to three sheets, helping streamline tasks such as envelope insertion and document distribution. The system also supports long-sheet printing up to 1,260 mm, making it suitable for in-house production of posters and POP materials.
Flexible Device Connectivity
The new IM series enables PC-less printing and scanning, allowing users to print directly from USB storage devices or save scanned files without using a computer. Ricoh’s “Easy Input/Output” mobile application further supports printing and scanning from smartphones and tablets.
For environments requiring strict network separation – such as government offices, hospitals, and financial institutions – Ricoh offers an optional configuration that allows a single device to connect securely to multiple networks, reducing infrastructure complexity and cost.
Strengthening Environmental Performance
From an environmental perspective, approximately 50% of the total plastic weight used in the device bodies is derived from recycled materials. In addition, the adoption of low-melting-point toner contributes to industry-leading TEC values, supporting Ricoh’s commitment to a circular economy and carbon reduction.
