RIICO & FICCI jointly plan to organize Virtual edition of VASTRA on 23-27 Sept

29 August 2020: Rajasthan State Industrial Development & Investment Corporation Ltd. (RIICO) and Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) are jointly organizing the Virtual edition of VASTRA from 23-27 September 2020. The expo is being supported by Garment Exporters Association of Rajasthan (GEAR).

The VASTRA 2020 will showcase India as one of the most favoured sourcing destinations for Apparel and Textile products. The Virtual Expo will provide business opportunities to explore joint ventures, technology tie-ups & FDI possibilities in India. The expo is likely to be attended by overseas buyers and Indian Buying houses / Agents. The participating company will interact with overseas buyers as well as Indian buying houses/agents under the prefixed buyer seller meet (B2B) programme.

“Also, instead of printing and handing out hundreds of flyers, exhibitors’ services are available in one downloadable file that can be viewed online by everyone in attendance,” says Akshay Jain, Senior Assistant Director- Trade Fairs, FICCI.

A large number of international buyers from across the globe and Indian buying houses / agents have been participating in VASTRA since the very first edition held in 2012. VASTRA has emerged as an important exhibition in the international calendar of events in textiles and apparel.

RIICO, through its promoted organization CDOS, has been organizing India Stonemart – an international stone industry exhibition on biannual basis since 2000.

As a premier industry body, FICCI also organizes a large number of events including exhibitions, conferences, seminars, business meets, etc. for promoting business. The major trade fairs organized by FICCI include India Chem, India Aviation Show, India Stonemart, Annapoorna World of Food India, Eima Agrimach India, Big5 Construct India, Arogya, etc.
